FAQs

Do I Need to Order a Wallpaper Swatch? I recommended that you purchase a test swatch before committing to full rolls since I am unable to offer returns, exchanges, or refunds. A test swatch will allow you to accurately see the color and scale of the design (what you see on your computer monitor might not be accurate), and you would also be able to test the adhesive on your particular surface.

What’s the Difference Between Wallpaper Types? The Removable Peel-and-Stick Woven wallpaper is 100% PVC-free polyester,  slightly textured, with a peel-and-stick backing. This DIY paper is not recommended for walls with even the slightest texture, or for children's bedrooms/nurseries — because if not hung under the exact correct conditions, in an extremely low number of cases, it may bubble or fall.

Peel and Stick Removable Woven is not recommended for application over paints advertised as being stain-resistant, scrubbable or washable. These paints are made to prevent things from sticking, including wallpaper. If in doubt, prime your walls with a flat white primer and allow to fully dry for at least 4 full weeks prior to wallpaper installation.

The Removable Pre-pasted Smooth wallpaper has a water-activated adhesive backing (it's fully recyclable once removed).  This DIY paper installs well to most non-textured surfaces that are not water-repellant.  It's always best to follow my production partner's installation instructions and surface guidelines to the letter.

The installation differs slightly, and you will receive detailed instructions with your wallpaper when it arrives.

How Do I Measure My Walls?

Measure the height and width of your walls, and do not exclude doors and windows. This will help ensure a seamless repeat across the wallpapered space when you go to install. If they are excluded, the rolls may not align with each other.

How Do I Calculate the Number of Rolls to Order?

It is a good idea to order slightly longer rolls than your wall height measures in order to account for walls that are not square. You will most likely need to shift your second, and third, fourth, fifth, etc. rolls slightly upward to match the patterns.

For example:  If your wall is 12.5' w x 8.75' h, it would be best to order 7 twelve foot rolls instead of nine foot rolls, to allow for shifting the pattern on a wall that's not square.  If the wall height is closer to 7' or 8', then the nine foot rolls should be fine.

Since every product is custom-printed, each order has is its very own dye-lot, or print-lot. While large color shifts between orders should not be an issue, there can be slight variations if two orders are placed (and hence printed) at different times. Just like when buying commercial fabric or yarn with dye lots, it is always best to order enough digitally printed wallpaper for your project all at the same time.

How Do I Remove the Prepasted Smooth Wallpaper? To remove Prepasted Removable Smooth Wallpaper, start at the corner of one roll and gently peel back from the wall. If needed, use a damp sponge to reactivate the adhesive to allow it to release more easily. Once the paper is removed, the wall can be wiped with a damp sponge to clear up any remaining adhesive residue.

How Do I Remove the Peel-and-Stick Woven Wallpaper? To remove Peel and Stick Removable Woven Wallpaper, start at the corner of the roll and simply peel away from the wall like a sticker.

Can I Return or Exchange My Order and Get a Refund? I'm sorry, but no.  Each order is custom printed for the individual, which means that I cannot re-stock and re-sell materials that are returned.
